Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Mandatory Training In an effort to help Area 14 educators with some of the compliance requirements related to OSHA, GVAEA has purchased access to a web-based delivery system provided through Heartland AEA. This online training is currently available to employees of school districts in Area 14 at no charge, so be sure to take advantage of this free opportunity! The OSHA Mandatory Training includes four areas: Bloodborne Pathogens, Lockout/Tagout Training, Right-to-Know (Hazard Communication Standard), Mandatory Reporting Child /Dependent Adult Abuse Training, Asbestos Awareness training for Maintenance and Custodial Personnel, and 504 Training. The training your employees are required to have is dependent on the work they do. More detailed information is available at the OSHA Mandatory Training link below.
